väsamed’s SensiLase System Brings Technology
Unheard Of Yesterday Into Everyday Practice
LASER TECHNOLOGY, BRILLIANTLY APPLIED.
The SensiLase System uses patented laser Doppler technology with a proprietary algorithm (patent pending). After application near the site of interest, a
pressure cuff is inflated to stop capillary perfusion. The cuff is then deflated at a controlled rate as the laser sensor under the cuff detects the return of flow. Utilizing this information, the SensiLase System calculates the cuff pressure (in mmHg) at which capillary flow returns. This is the Skin Perfusion Pressure, or SPP.

INFORMATION YOU NEED, EVEN IN DIFFICULT CASES.
This SensiLase System to provide fast, accurate data even when there are significant complicating factors such as: large vessel calcification, mild edema, inaudible pulses, callus, anemia, necrotic toes, or skin type. |

DIAGNOSE WITH CONFIDENCE.
In addition to SPP, the SensiLase System performs Pulse Volume Recordings (PVR). PVR uses plethysmography to evaluate changes in arterial blood volume in the extremities with each pulse, and it helps determine the level and severity of arterial disease in extremities. |
